Remington Water Conservation

Summertime is here, and the heat is on. In preparation for any possible drought. The town is asking the citizens to conserve water. Here are a few ideas to cut back on water usage.
  • LIMIT WATERING THE LAWN. TURN OFF IRRIGATION SYSTEM.
  • LIMIT WASHING CARS AT HOME, USE THE CAR WASH.
  • LIMIT DRIVEWAY OR HOUSE WASHING.
  • LIMIT TOPPING OFF SWIMMING POOLS.
  • TAKE SHOWERS IN STEAD OF BATHS. MAKE THOSE SHORT IN LENGTH.
  • TURN OFF THE WATER WHEN NOT DIRECTLY IN USE, SUCH AS WHILE BRUSHING TEETH, WASHING HANDS, AND WASHING DISHES.
  • USE FULL LOADS WHEN USING DISH WASHER AND WASHING MACHINES.
  • IF YOU MUST WATER FLOWERS/SHRUBS, USE A WATERING CAN. YOU CAN CONTROL THE AMOUNT OF WATER USED.
  • STOP LEAKS, DRIPPING FAUCETS, RUNNING TOILETS, ETC.
WHAT WE DO TODAY WILL HELP US ALL TOMORROW. THIS IS FOR EVERYONES BENEFIT!
